Background:
"Rocksalt is essentially an expression of all the things I really dig. I like the banter that fills the conversations of people familiar with each other. I like inconspicuous references that when recognised, give you a buzz and make you feel like you're a member of an exclusive club. I like complete DOUBLE U TEE EFF moments that simultaneously confuse and intrigue. I also like beaches, guns, beer, swords, Nintendo, explosions... and a bunch of other stuff that may become apparent. Admittedly, the story is a little on the thin/ridiculous side, the drawings do that annoying evolution thing in pretty much every panel, and the project has questionable consistency. But there's some redeeming charm in there to be found if you're patient enough.
